Заблуждение первое: для того, чтобы поддерживать форму, надо найти диету и сидеть на ней до конца жизни. Не верьте! Любая диета, будь это кремлевская или калифорнийская, ананасовая или кисломолочная способствует только сбросу веса. Ни в коем случае нельзя придерживаться этой диеты долгое время. У организма возникнет недостаток питательных веществ, ведь каждая диета предполагает ограничение приема каких-либо продуктов. Кстати, заметьте, каждая ограничивает разные продукты, но эффект обещают один и тот же. Поэтому, если вы смогли продержаться две недели на диете – считайте себя героиней. Дальше надо просто ввести в свою жизнь некоторые «нельзя».

Заблуждение второе: Еда после шести вечера приводит к лишнему весу. Это заблуждение почти отвечает действительности. Только правильнее говорить не «еда после шести», а «еда меньше, чем за три часа до сна». Чувствуете разницу? Я, например, раньше полуночи не ложусь – так что ужинать могу в девять.

Заблуждение третье: все эти рекламируемые средства для похудения. Забудьте про эту химическую гадость – только вред, никакой пользы.

А вот несколько правил стоит запомнить и соблюдать. Они значительно облегчат вам жизнь, и худеть будет гораздо легче.

1. Утро лучше начинать с овсянки. А если в ней будут бананы и орехи – великолепно! Все вещества в таком завтраке исключительно полезны, а чувство сытости позволит обойтись малой обеденной порцией.
2. Если есть возможность, ешьте больше ягод и фруктов. Только не заменяйте их соками, это пустышка, ни приносящая никакой пользы.
3. Ужин в полумраке снижает ощущение количества съеденного, а яркий свет позволяет увидеть гигантскую порцию, которая вскоре окажется на бедрах, во всей красе. Ужинайте только при ярком освещении, съедите на 25% меньше.
4. Никаких «диетических» продуктов в меню быть не должно. Речь идет о фабричной маркировке «диетическое», «низкокалорийное» и т.д. – подсознательно мы съедаем такого продукта гораздо больше, чем обычного – «ведь от него не толстеют!». Толстеют, еще как.
5. Постарайтесь, чтоб на собственной кухне вам не попадались на глаза соблазнительные вазочки с конфетами и печеньем, тортики и пирожные – вам сразу станет легче жить. А постоянный соблазн кого угодно может свести с ума!
6. Мясо, салатики из свежих овощей и каши – ваша любимая еда. Те, кто ест мясо, съедает 440 ккал меньше, чем вегетарианцы – это научно доказано. А 440 ккал составляют практически треть дневной нормы 1200 ккал. Каши и овощи представляют собой клетчатку, она вызывает ощущение сытости при минимуме калорий. Кроме того, там куча полезных веществ.

Соблюдайте эти шесть правил в течение месяца и увидите, как стрелка весов все больше отклоняется влево.

Кстати, удивительная – и показательная! - вещь: в википедии нет ни русской, ни польской статьи о знаменитой и весьма влиятельной книге Саида. Тем более – украинской, литовской и т.д. Это косвенно свидетельствует, что русские, поляки, украинцы и т.д. в глубине души полагают, что книга Саида их не касается. А зря, батеньки. Саид поднимает в книге массу вопросов, которые и нас всех напрямую касаются, в том числе и вцепившихся друг другу в горло укропов и ватников. Больше бы читали эту книгу, особливо всяческие эурапэйския модныя интеллектуалы в Киеве – авось бы да и не вцепились, на потеху эураатлянтам.
У меня мысли, близкие к тем, что излагает Саид, впервые появились лет 18 назад, когда я кропал ну совершенно школярскую по нынешнему разумению статейку “пад крыжом Св. Георгия”, об участии английских крестоносцев в “рейзах” на ВКЛ. И как меня тогда поразило, что западная пропаганда конца 14 – начала 15 в. изображала ВКЛ “сарацинским” государством, буквально вот из секретных источников постоянно просачивались сведения, как Витовт закорифанил с султаном Вавилонии и буквально завтра они все, из своего ужасного – но компактного – далёка выступают в грабительский поход на западную Ойкумену, вроде блоковских скифов, или немконасилующих красноармейцев 1945 г. Хорошо, что хроники Фруассара или Уолсингема никогда не попадутся на глаза спадарыне Светлане С., а то она неизбежно вставила бы это лыко в строку, для подтверждения своих теорий.
Так вот, мне бы очень хотелось когда-нибудь написать книгу похожую на “Ориентализм” Эдварда Саида, только со сдвигом на наш милый север, и в особенности на те места, где произошли основные события как еврейской Катастрофы, так и в максимальной степени были понесены жертвы истребительной политики нацизма по отношению к молодым женщинам славянам. Здесь бы, конечно, было и немало отличий от Саида. Ну, прежде всего, в оценке роли евреев: для него они явные агенты ориентофобского Запада, которые, в основном, и науськивают Запад на мирных арабских обывателей, в своих мелочных интересах. Обвинение, не вполне лишенное актуального содержания, но начисто лишенное исторической глубины, - сколько там лет Израилю? И к тому же все эти израильские козни и хитрики имеют шансы на успех лишь постольку, поскольку Израиль играет роль американского Табаки, а случись что с Америкой – весь мнимый израильско-западный альянс рассыпется в прах.
А ведь Саид-то пытается нарисовать масштабное историческое полотно. А вот по отношению к нам, восточноевропейским лимитрофам, можно говорить об очень устойчивых, многовековых шаблонах восприятия, в которых евреи предстают такими же точно чернож…ыми варварами, как и мы. Почему и было совершенно логичным из возвышенных Франций, Германий и проч. депортировать их на варварский же восток, в “польские” и “белорусские” лагери смерти, чтобы без особого шума укокошить их среди столь же малоценных, в общем-то, варваров. И если заодно немного зацепит и фоновых варваров, то, в общем-то, ничего страшного. Тем более удобно, что через Эн столетий можно все списать на дикие межварварские разборки. На ориентализм, северного разлива.
Последнее двадцатилетие доставило немало материала для такой крайне гипотетической книги. В частности, подростковые бунты Венгрии и, в последнее время, Польши против западной диспозиции. И, конечно же, украинские события – в особенности, в контексте последних раскопок “Шпигеля”.
Но, конечно же, сил и времени на такую книгу у меня нет, а если бы каким-то фантастическим образом они у меня были, то кто бы её опубликовал. Остается только желчные реплики в адрес эураатлянтау бросать, время от времени.

Ex-pit manager Baxter admitted to our undercover team that he's now in an even muckier business. "This place is about five-star sex, sex, sex!" he bragged.

With a wicked grin he then paraded his harem of 15 stunning vice girls in front of new guests and declared: "Take your pick. She's yours 24 hours a day!"

After long transatlantic flights, most of the weary golfers perked up and thought they'd landed on the fairway to heaven—and not a bit of rough in sight.

When our men said they fancied playing a few holes on the course, Baxter offered FOUR girls to accompany them as caddies.

One leggy blonde purred as she removed her skimpy bikini then tried a little stroke play on another girl up against the super buggy.

As he ogled the action Baxter (right) schmoozed: "How many hotels can give you this sort of service? Lads tell the wife they're on a golf break with their mates and it's the perfect cover. You're hardly going to think your hubby's cheating on you when he takes his clubs away with him.

"And we have very discreet ways of making sure no one is embarrassed. Everything appears to be completely above board on all the credit card slips.

"Guys can play 18 holes with their pals and then sleep with the most beautiful women in the world.

"It's the ultimate lads' holiday—just as long as the wife doesn't find out!"

Back at the sex hotel the guests were taking full advantage of the steamy extras on offer.

Married businessman Richard, 46, was strutting around with a slender breathtaking blonde in a barely-there bikini.

He told us: "My wife would have my business if she knew." Richard's hands were wandering everywhere as he waltzed his new buddy off for an afternoon session in bed and chirped: "This place is amazing!"

Another guest called Steve, 55, flicked thinning white locks from his eyes to check out his 26-year-old girl, named Eimar.

"Tasty," murmured the tubby estate agent as he greedily eyed up every inch of the fake-boobed blonde.

"This place brings a whole new meaning to the term all-inclusive."

Clients are free to swap escorts for a different model any time and extra girls can be rented for £133 a day.

Baxter told our men: "Stay with one girl then hire another one and get them in the same room working on each other.

"You can take pictures if you want andyou can even put them on the internet. You could make money out of it—just give the girls 10 per cent!"

Baxter then revealed how his 28-year-old Venezuelan wife, Anna, was his main recruiter of the hotel's crackers from Caracas.

"She finds the girls on the mainland," he said. "They're basically beautiful hookers who'd otherwise be working on the streets.

"Here they get treated well. They have the same accommodation, food and drinks as the customers.

Pointing to a 6ft 4in muscle-bound Austrian, Baxter added: "But we've got Gunther here to make sure there are no problems."

Gunther has ambitions to run his own place but for now is the ideal enforcer. "You wouldn't argue with him, would you!" laughed Baxter.

Most of his girls speak no English —although they are completly fluent in body language.

"Everything is possible at your tropical paradise," teases the advertising message.

An office in Durham handles his bookings.

"I've got 76 booked in for next month already," boasted Baxter. "And 80 per cent of them will be back within a year, guaranteed."

He bragged the operation is so successful that rival enterprises are springing up.

"We have two main rivals but they're not a patch on us," he insisted. This is the gold-plated version. Put it this way, it's not like going off and finding a hooker in Paddington."

No, but then it's not the sort of golf experience that will get you on the leaderboard in Augusta today either!

Продюсер Мартин Брегман решает снять ремейк фильма 30-х годов, переместив действие в период прихода к власти на Кубе Фиделя Кастро. Для создания сценария он приглашает в команду Оливера Стоуна, до этого поработавшего сценаристом лишь над блестящим "Полуночным экспрессом" и банальным развлекательным "Конаном-варваром". На роль композитора приглашает Джорджио Мородера, человека, ставшего лицом эпохи в мировом музыкальном продюсировании 80-х годов, и, по-сути, одного из ведущих архитекторов диско-феномена.

Особенно следует сказать о кастинге проекта. Ал Пачино, Мишель Пфайфер, Мюррей Абрахам, Стивен Бауэр - сейчас безусловные звезды, но в то время лишь Пачино мог считаться одним из безоговорочных лидеров кино рынка.
Итогом дебютного сезона стала лишь номинация на три "Золотых глобуса": мужские роли первого и второго плана, и лучший саундтрек. Больше никаких номинаций и никаких призов, если не считать "Золотой малины" персонально для Брайана Де Пальмы. Мир в тот год счел фильм пустым и не заслуживающим внимания. А дальше произошла трансформация массового сознания: фильм стал не просто культовым, но и лицом эпохи 80-х.
Майки с принтами, постеры, цитация в рекламе, главы в учебниках по кинематографии, монографии, аналитические статьи, даже куклы Тони Монтана - все это сегодня можно найти в любом городе, в любом информационном источнике по кинематографии. Фильм стал событием, которому уже давно плевать на все "оскары" и "глобусы".
Собственно, это и есть мораль истории: подлинное значение события можно понять лишь со временем; когда "осядет пыль". Иногда это происходит спустя год-два, а иногда спустя десятилетия, когда вдруг становится понятным, что именно этот фильм, эта музыка, эта картина попали в тональность эпохи, передав ее суть.
